Akothee Opens Up About Short-Lived Marriage and Honeymoon Revelations

In a candid TikTok live session on Tuesday, Akothee addressed the lingering questions about her brief marriage to Denis Schweizer, also known as ‘Omosh.’ The celebrated singer disclosed that she ended the relationship back in June, emphasizing that it was not a viable connection for her, and she chose not to force its continuation.

During the live session, Akothee refrained from delving into the specific reasons for their separation but hinted that certain revelations during their honeymoon became insurmountable, leading to the decision to part ways.

“I believe most of you have moved on from my relationship life, just like I have moved on from it. It does not exist anymore. I want to tell you that I walked out of that relationship back in June. I will, however, not go into details,” Akothee shared.

The singer recounted how she left the marriage without directly informing Omosh, admitting that she deceived him about her departure after discovering aspects she could not cope with during their honeymoon.

“I walked out of the relationship back in June. I normally walk out of my relationships while I am still in them. When we were on honeymoon, I found out some things that I could not cope with. Then he asked me, ‘Will you leave me?’ I said, ‘No, honey, I love you.’ When I was leaving Switzerland in July, at the airport, he asked me, ‘Will you leave me?’ I said, ‘No, honey, I love you.’ But for sure, I had already left,” Akothee revealed.

Expressing her philosophy on relationships, Akothee stated, “I am a person who does not force issues. When it is not working for me, even if it is working for you, it is just not working. The reason I don’t stay in toxic relationships or relationships that I do not understand is that my money is in my head. The moment I allow any man to mess up with my head, then he is messing up with my pocket.”

Despite the challenges, Akothee asserted that she does not regret the relationship or her decision to leave. She cherished the positive aspects of her wedding and expressed gratitude for Omosh’s support during a difficult time.

“I did enjoy my marriage; I enjoyed my wedding. I don’t regret anything. I did my wedding on my birthday, just in case things went wrong, as they have done, I would not have any regrets.”

Akothee also disclosed that Omosh introduced her to his mother during a visit to Italy, emphasizing the positive impact he had during a challenging period in her life.

In conclusion, Akothee highlighted the importance of learning from unsuccessful relationships, acknowledging that each experience contributes to personal growth. She assured her audience that she is moving on to the next chapter and encouraged others to deal with their emotions and heal from challenging situations.
