A woman has taken to the streets, creating a spectacle by alleging that she sired three children with former President Uhuru Kenyatta. The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was seen parading with a piece of clothing bearing the message, “I had 3 kids with Uhuru Kenyatta.”
As curious onlookers gathered, she did not shy away from sharing her claim, insisting that the former president had taken away their children, leading her to stage a public protest. “Nilizaa na yeye na akanipokonya watoto (he took away the kids),” she declared, leaving the crowd astonished.
This is not the first time such allegations have surfaced regarding Uhuru Kenyatta’s purported offspring. In 2021, a 45-year-old woman from Mombasa, Evelyn Ikandi Evermwende, made headlines with similar claims, asserting that she had two children with the former head of state.
Evelyn detailed that their first child, Fadhili Jomo, was born in 2016, followed by the birth of their second child, Ahadi Maria, in 2018. Shockingly, she went on to allege that First Lady Margaret Kenyatta was aware of the situation. Additionally, Evelyn accused Uhuru Kenyatta of neglecting the children born out of their alleged relationship.
The recent street protest adds a new chapter to the controversy surrounding claims of children fathered by the former president, creating a buzz on social media and beyond. As of now, the identity of the protesting woman and the veracity of her claims remain unclear. The public awaits further developments and any potential response from the former president’s camp.
